MISSIONARY DENNIS..., DIRECTOR FOR SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF, GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR
This past February 2023 we had our youth conference for the deaf. The theme of the conference was, "It is not my strength: IT IS HIS GRACE." Our focus was on I Corinthians 15:10, "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
Also attending was Pastor Michael L... from Portovijo and his church. There were about 40 young people in attendance. During the week fifteen young people stayed in the church at night. It was a tremendous blessing to have a total of seven sessions in sign language that taught the Word of God to the youth. During the conference Pastor Ricardo... and Missionary Raymond... were preaching the Word of God. Mrs. Ana... was teaching the ladies. Thank you for praying for this conference. Several young people were encouraged in their walk with the Lord and have become faithful to the church.
On Sunday, the last day of the conference, three people accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. They had been invited by the father of one of the youth.
PS. Please keep us in your prayers. We have a three-year-old granddaughter who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
