"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith upon Zion, "Thy God reigneth!" Isaiah 52:7
THE GOAL OF SPANISH BAPTIST MISSIONS INC.:
Spanish Baptist Missions Inc. was founded and incorporated in 1975. Its goal is to reach the Spanish-speaking in Mexico, Spanish America, and the United States with the gospel of the grace of God as revealed in the Scriptures. Dr. Joel Silos has been Director and President since 1988. Once a year the Board of Directors meet to discuss the past activities of the fiscal year and goals for the coming year.
We are currently working with other mission agencies, such as Baptist International Missions Inc. (BIMI) and Bible Education and Missionary Service (BEAMS) missionaries. One of our goals is to help raise support for Bible school graduates that are planting churches in South America and Mexico. Since the inception of SBMI, we have had the privilege of helping more than 100 missionaries that have planted churches.
SBMI's approach is a wide, forward-moving program that uses Bible institutes, radio broadcasts, youth rallies, camps, and literature distribution, etc. with the ultimate goal in the establishment of local churches with the Spanish speaking. TESTIMONY OF NEW CANDIDATE FOR SUPPORT:
Missionary Juan Manuel ..., Leon Guanajuato, Mexico.
At the age of 8, an aunt who is a Christian shared the gospel with me. From the age of 15, I lived under the influence of drugs and alcohol. I was living for the world. At the age of 26, I had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospel of Christ gave me freedom to serve Him until today. I completed Bible Institute at my church, Bethel Baptist Church in Leon, Guanajuato. Today I am working in a mission called Hacienda Arriba. One of our ministries is visiting the hospital every Saturday morning. We bring food like cinnamon tea, coffee, breads, stews of eggs, beans and tortillas to give to the people. After they have a meal, we take the opportunity to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Pictures were enclosed of the family, feeding visitors at hospital, preaching at the hospital and having church under a tarp.
An heir of God through Christ,

Joel Silos D. D.
